Blog Stats

This Tanfield blog is used by people from across NE England, Britain, Europe,North America and elsewhere.   People use it to keep in touch when they are unable to visit, and check progress on projects.   Some volunteers use it to find out what's going on outside their sphere, while others see what they are likely to be letting themselves in for the next day!

Some stats for August 2014:
     1450 people visited
75% were repeat visitors, 25% were new
     There were 4800 visits
Average visit duration was 3 minutes
     17000 pages were viewed

Several people send photos for the blog, which is very helpful, and gives other viewpoints.   Henry & Ian publish posts in their own right, which is extremely helpful & makes the blog more interesting.

I would like to extend contributions to the blog with:
     1.  more contributors directly publishing their own posts of photos covering work & events
     2.  interesting posts on matters relating to our aims, such as on one of our locomotives
     3.  photo articles written by a contributor but emailed for posting by a blog editor

If you would like to contribute or chat about this, please get in touch.
